Amazon Looks To Break Into Email Services Space With WorkMail

AmazonWebServices logoAmazon Web Services, an Amazon.com company, announced the launch of Amazon WorkMail, an enterprise email and calendaring service designed to give users an email option that does not require hardware or complex email server software. The announcement puts Amazon in contention with Microsoft and Google as they attempt to make foothold in the workplace.

The services are designed to replace the technology behind corporate email in data centers. Therefore, WorkMail users will be able to keep using Microsoft Outlook, for example, but be able to use their WorkMail login and use all the similar functionality.

DiscoverOrg Unveils HubSpot Integration For Lead Management Tool

Fliptop Grows Customer Base By 180%

Survey: 70% Lack Formalized Marketing Messaging Processes For Employees

More than 30% of respondents said their messaging was company centric, and just over one third provide ongoing coaching to ensure consistency across marketing campaigns.

These are some of the findings of a recent survey from Corporate Visions. The company polled more than 500 B2B marketing and sales professionals worldwide regarding the alignment of their marketing campaigns and sales content development processes.

Vidyard Raises $18M For Product Development, Sales Expansion

vidyard logoVidyard has raised $18 million in Series B funding, which the company plans to use to further develop its video marketing and sales enablement offerings and expand its sales organization, along with other investments.

“Among other things, we want to build on the success we’ve had with Vidyard Studio, our platform for creating, sharing and tracking engagement in custom videos,” said Michael Litt, Co-Founder and CEO of Vidyard, in an interview with Demand Gen Report. “There are a lot of great applications for Vidyard Studio, such as being able to upload a PowerPoint presentation and turn it into a video, and we want to keep expanding the product.”
