Manticore Releases V7 Upgrade With Added Drag-And-Drop Editors

With over 40 enhancements and features, Manticore Technology announced the release of Manticore Technology VII, an update to the company’s marketing automation platform. The main upgrades in the release include a drag-and-drop editor for building emails and landing pages and integration with salesforce.com custom objects.

However, Manticore also used the new update to poke its competitors who in the process of replacements of their existing platforms, as opposed to the phased upgrades Manticore has been offering customers.

“Two Manticore Technology competitors are launching new versions of their products that will require their customers to undergo a complete migration to a new platform.” said Jeff Erramouspe, president of Manticore Technology..  “While Manticore Technology congratulates them on finally recognizing the importance of usability to B2B marketers, they owe their customers details about the upcoming migration and what they can expect. How much time, money and training will their customers have to spend to migrate to the new platform?“

Manticore’s new drag-and-drop editors are designed to enable BtoB marketers to more easily build effective emails and landing pages. Manticore will also continue to offer customers the ability to create emails and landing pages in HTML as required for more complex designs.

Integration with salesforce.com custom objects is intended to enable companies with more sophisticated salesforce.com deployments to build more robust lead management processes. Other new enhancements include improved website visitor ID capabilities and enhanced sales alerting capabilities.

Erramouspe said Manticore continues to see rapid adoption around the globe, citing recent wins including a worldwide leader in financial protection, the world’s largest package delivery service, and a Fortune 200 company that delivers IT services around the globe.

Jonathan Block, VP of SiriusDecisions, a leading source for business-to-business sales and marketing best-practice research and data, said the new Manticore release speaks to key buying requirements. “When evaluating solutions, two of critical features to consider are CRM integration and overall usability.”
