Marketo Announces Customer Wins, Award Consideration For New Product Offering

BtoB marketing automation company Marketo announced continued momentum with the addition of nine new contracts to its growing base of customers now relying on the company’s Lead Management solution.
The new customer wins included Vocalocity, a leader in small business VoIPs solutions; eEye Digital Security, a professional grade security solutions provider, and Felbro, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of manufacturer of Point-of-Purchase displays.
“We used to run the risk of having leads fall through the cracks, but Marketo enables us to integrate sales and marketing in a seamless, closed-loop process, where leads are cycled from sales to marketing and back again,” said David Politis, general manager and executive VP at Vocalocity. “Marketo is working extremely well so far; it makes everything so efficient that it’s freed up valuable resources that can now be dedicated to other marketing activities.”
Marketo also reached a milestone signing on its first international customer, UK-based ShipServ, one of the world’s largest independent trading platform for shopping supplies.
In other news, Marketo was also named as a finalist in the computer software category of Best New Product or Service by the 2008 American Business Awards.
In addition, Marketo’s Modern BtoB Marketing blog subscriber base has jumped to more than 1,600. “The growth of Marketo’s blog community demonstrates the reality of the challenges marketers face with marketing accountability,” says Jon Miller, Modern BtoB Marketing blog author and VP of marketing at Marketo. “Our vision extends beyond product excellence to transofmring the role of BtoB marketing in business today. The growth in the number of blog subscribers is evidence that marketers are hungry for this change.”
