Sitecore Launches Email Campaign Manager To Integrate Online Channels

Sitecore recently launched Email Campaign Manager, a customer engagement solution aimed at extending the power of Sitecore CMS and the Sitecore Online Marketing Suite (OMS). The new system is also designed to provide advanced customer tracking and targeting, personalization, testing, integrated email management and reporting and seamless integration with CRM systems.

Email Campaign Manager is structured to give marketers the tools to understand all the visits and actions on a corporate web site that email campaigns are influencing. While traditional email systems have provided click and open rates, but lose track of the visitor actions once they reach the web site or the initial landing page.

“Traditional marketing has treated email much the same as other outbound channels – in a broadcast fashion,” said Darren Guarnaccia, VP Product Marketing, Sitecore. “Sitecore’s Email Campaign Manager provides marketers with data based on all website and email activity to provide more personally meaningful content.”

Sitecore’s Email Campaign Manager aims to map customers in a CRM system to the actual customers opening emails and visiting the web site or accessing the web via mobile phones.  Web visits taking place weeks or months after each email campaign can be tracked and associated with campaigns.

Marketers can leverages templates, content, images and designs across initiatives to create consistently branded asset-rich experiences.
