Industry analysts also validated the growing need for sales enablement solutions specifically designed for channel management. "Even in-house sales reps struggle to learn and become proficient at selling multiple products with multiple messages, and channel partners selling products from many vendors add complexity as they struggle to absorb so much information, documentation and messaging in real-time as they sell," said Laz Gonzalez, Research Director for sales and marketing advisory firm SiriusDecisions. "Sales Channel Enablement is about knowledge transfer to channel partners by making the right knowledge assets, processes and resources available that are fully capable of delivering top- and bottom-line improvements in channel performance."
