Infusionsoft
, a provider of sales and marketing software for small businesses, recently announced its acquisition of CustomerHub, a web-based application designed to provide membership site and customer portal platform to small businesses that market and sell content online. One of the top app integrations in the Infusionsoft marketplace, CustomerHub is designed to allow users to share unlimited password-protected content with subscribers.

Infusionsoft serves more than 7,500 small business customers with software to manage CRM, email marketing and e-commerce, as well as automation to nurture and convert leads.

LeadLife Releases 2nd Generation Of Marketing Automation Solution


LeadLife Solutions
recently announced the release of its second-generation marketing automation product, a new technology with a web 2.0 user interface and visual campaign builder designed to streamline marketing campaign management.

The visual campaign builder with drag-and-drop features is designed to enable marketers to build intelligent nurturing sequences based on their prospects’ buying process. A rules builder enables users to set rules for lead scoring, CRM integration and data cleansing.

More than 50 out-of-the-box reports are designed to allow marketers to “slice and dice” campaigns, leads, assets and more to optimize their marketing efforts. It also includes analyses to identify and target prospects and assess planned activities to ensure they meet forecasts. 

Google Begins Withholding Certain Search Data, Citing Privacy Concerns

On Oct.18, 2011, Google very quietly announced it would stop sharing specific keywords clicked and search term queries made by logged-in Google users with third-party marketers and advertisers. The search giant called the move part of an ongoing process to protect the privacy of Google users. The change will have an immediate impact on the effectiveness of SEO tools. Estimates of the impact of this change range from less than 10% of searches to as much as 30% or more.

It’s too early to tell if and how the change will impact BtoB content marketers. But the new policy has already met with displeasure from a number of key industry segments and players. Meanwhile, some industry watchers seemed unconcerned, and others even voice support for this adjustment to Google’s content ranking algorithm.

Brainshark, Inc, a provider of online and mobile video presentations technology, recently announced SlideShark, an application for showing PowerPoints on the iPad. Available for free in the App Store, the new platform is designed to streamline the importing and viewing of PowerPoints via the Apple device.

As iPad sales surge — increasing 183% year-over-year during Apple’s fiscal third quarter — more companies are deploying them to support sales, marketing, training and other field operations. PowerPoint remains integral to these processes, with more than 30 million presentations created daily, according to Microsoft estimates.

Demandbase Builds Momentum Via Real-Time ID Service, Partners With Bulldog Solutions

Demandbase, Inc. announced that more than 30 new Eloqua customers have selected Demandbase Real-Time ID to optimize web experiences since the company announced the plug-in to Eloqua’s marketing automation suite at the Eloqua Experience conference in October 2010.

The Demandbase Real-Time ID Service is designed to identify existing customers, target accounts, industries and other business attributes of the web visitor before web pages are served, to optimize interactions with personal engagements.
