ON24 Rolls Out “Device-Aware” Strategy To Tailor Mobile Access For Online Events

UntitledON24, Inc. debuted its new MOVE (Mobile Virtual Environments) this week, a technology that allows the company’s webcasting and virtual event platforms to detect which device a user is on and then automatically provide a customized experience.

The new, comprehensive expansion of the company’s mobile strategy was driven by a dramatic increase in the number of users viewing online events on iPads and mobile phones. On24 said mobile usage of its webcasting platform grew 300% in the last year, and the company expects that number to double again by this time next year.

Act-On Software Continues Growth in Q2 2012

reported record results for Q2 2012. During the second quarter, revenue grew 320% year-over-year, and the company signed 277 new customers. This marks the 10th consecutive quarter of sequential growth for the company.

Act-On grew its employee base by more than 200% in the last year. The company appointed David Fowler as its chief privacy and deliverability officer. His role will include developing best practices in online marketing, helping customers implement those best practices and representing Act-On at key industry groups.

In June, Act-On released Act-On Insight, focused on capabilities for benchmarking and tracking key online marketing metrics. The tool is designed to help companies monitor social media and engage prospects.

Pardot Reports Record Q2 Customer Growth


Marketing automation vendor Pardot reported its most successful quarter to date, adding 143 new clients in Q2 2012. The company also sealed a significant deal with Dell in the second quarter, with the computer manufacturer now offering Pardot to its small business customers. Also in Q2, Pardot was awarded a large line of credit from Silicon Valley Bank, which, according to the company, will be used to fund its growth and customer service initiatives. Pardot’s client list includes more than 1,300 companies worldwide.

Pardot Launches Partnership With Dell To Provide Marketing Automation For SMBs

Pardot announced a new relationship with Dell that will use Dell Cloud Business Applications to deliver its marketing automation software. The partnership is aimed at helping SMB companies use automation to create marketing programs that they can track and measure.  

The Dell marketing automation solution offers services designed to get marketing organizations up and running quickly. It includes services for setting up email campaigns, developing web site forms and integrating Google AdWords and CRM systems. The Pardot package will include implementation services that are designed to speed adoption and time to value.

Optify Adds Email Marketing And Closed-Loop Response Tracking To Inbound Marketing Suite


Optify
, a provider of inbound marketing software B2B marketers, recently announced the expansion of its inbound marketing solution, adding closed-loop email marketing to its suite. Email marketing is the first in a series of "middle-of-the-funnel" lead nurturing features part of the Optify platform. The integrated enhancements are focused on enabling users to view, track and analyze online marketing and email campaign results in a centralized location.

The platform is designed to provide a closed-loop expansion of the sales pipeline for maximized measurement and email campaign follow up. For example, using Optify marketing can provide sales with a list of the contacts that showed the most research activity on a company's web site after receiving the email, rather than just those who filled out a form.

DemandGen Report To Host Strategic Conference In Palo Alto Highlighting Measurable Marketing Tips


DemandGen Report will host an educational conference for senior executives increasingly in need of better analytical precision and more accountability in their marketing efforts.
