Nearly Half Of Marketers Say Data Is Underused, Teradata Survey Reveals

Teradata logoThe Teradata Data-Driven Marketing Survey 2013 revealed that while many companies are moving toward data-driven marketing, nearly half of marketers agree that data is the most underutilized asset in their organization. In response, many companies are starting in the marketing department as they look to make operational adjustments to tighten marketing-IT integration.

The survey was conducted by Teradata Applications, a division of Teradata that is focused on business, marketing and analytical applications, and services. More than 2,200 global marketers responded to the survey.

Marketo, Act-On Report Strong Q2 Results

Marketo Act-onMarketo reported $22.5 million in revenue for Q2, a 62% increase over the previous year. The company’s customer count increased to 2,592 and officials pointed to a strong diversity in customer acquisition across CRM ecosystems, consumer brands, verticals and geographies as well as SMB and enterprise sectors.

For Q3, Marketo expects to report revenue between $23 and $24 million, and full-year forecasts are for revenue in the range of $89 to $91 million.
