Competitive Positioning
Marketing has been under pressure to show a return on their lead generation efforts. The number of leads generated, according to Zorian Rotenberg, VP of Marketing at InsightSquared, does not provide an overall picture of performance.
“What I feel is the most excruciating pain in marketing today — the hidden truth that no one really talks about — is that most CEOs and Boards of Directors do not really care about the number of leads,” said Rotenberg in an interview with Demand Gen Report. “If marketing was able to speak in the language that CEOs can understand — sales and sales pipeline — it would be a completely different conversation.”
The app highlights leads that are contributing the most value to sales efforts, which will result in more effective campaigns, Rotenberg explained.
