ZoomInfo Unveils Advancements To Enhanced Database

After completing a series of advancements to its patented systems that collect, match and continuously update information on five million businesses and 50 million employees, ZoomInfo has announced a new platform designed to fill voids in the business-information market created by outdated information and limited search functionality.
With this new platform, ZoomInfo is aiming to solve challenges data providers face — keeping up with rapidly changing business information, satisfying the increasing demand for data on small and medium-sized businesses and providing highly searchable content.
The company has added new content-collection processes designed to continue to provide businesspeople with constantly analyzed and verified business information that is compatible with organizations all sizes and types. Upgraded search and alerting tools are designed to allow users to quickly pinpoint contacts based on criteria, including industry, territory, specific experience and even personal interests.
The new ZoomInfo Database is made up of web-crawling analysis functions and community-contributed contacts provided by users and information from users who update their own profiles.
The new platform is designed with multiple applications, including tools to optimize information acquisition for enterprise CRM, sales and marketing teams.
Over the next few weeks, the company will announce more details about the applications. Among ZoomInfo's technology investments are enhancements to its web crawler; upgrades to proprietary matching engines; and “profile-creating” engine.
