ZoomInfo, a business contact and intelligence platform, agreed to acquire conversational intelligence platform Chorus.ai to help its users leverage customer call, meeting and email data insights for more engaging buyer-seller conversations.
ZoomInfo plans to combine Chrous.ai’s conversational intelligence data with its existing contact data to create a new category within its database, which aims to enhance contact data quality with actionable insights into a buyer’s activities throughout the buyer’s journey. This will allow ZoomInfo users to build buyer audiences and set up buyer alerts for enhanced internal workflows.
With this new category, ZoomInfo users can use the data insights to inform their go-to-market (GTM) strategies, allowing sales reps to address buyer needs more accurately for improved buyer engagement. Users can also take advantage of Chorus.ai’s machine learning capabilities to learn from previous interactions with the buyer and uncover potential repeatable actions that drive conversions.
The acquisition follows ZoomInfo’s recent integration with LeanData, which utilizes LeanData’s lead-to-account matching capabilities to improve lead routing and further enhance the quality of its contact database. With the addition of conversational data, ZoomInfo users can route leads more accurately while simultaneously ascertaining relevant contact data for faster, more relevant engagement.
