Pardot Reports Record Q2 Customer Growth

Marketing automation vendor Pardot reported its most successful quarter to date, adding 143 new clients in Q2 2012. The company also sealed a significant deal with Dell in the second quarter, with the computer manufacturer now offering Pardot to its small business customers. Also in Q2, Pardot was awarded a large line of credit from Silicon Valley Bank, which, according to the company, will be used to fund its growth and customer service initiatives. Pardot’s client list includes more than 1,300 companies worldwide.

In April, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution named Pardot the best small business to work for in Atlanta in its annual Top Workplaces competition. The Atlanta Business Chronicle also recognized Pardot as one of the 50 fastest-growing Atlanta companies for the third consecutive year.

Pardot Co-Founder and COO Adam Blitzer said the company has hired 28 people to date in 2012, and it plans to hire 100 new employees before the end of 2013.

Pardot also announced several software enhancements in Q2, including the addition of customizable unsubscribe and email preference pages, as well as SEO keyword reporting capabilities. Pardot also added functionality designed to help streamline marketing, including a simplified process for setting up conditions on automation, segmentation rules and dynamic lists.
