Outreach Reaches Unicorn Status With $114M In New Series E Funding

Outreach, a sales engagement platform, raised $114 million in Series E financing. This brings the company’s total funding amount raised to date up to $239 million and makes it a unicorn startup valued at $1.1 billion.
The funding was led by Lone Pine Capital, with additional participation from Meritech Capital Partners, Lemonade Capital, DFJ Growth, Four Rivers Group, Mayfield, M12, Sapphire Ventures, Spark Capital and Trinity Ventures. The company said the funds will be used to double its machine learning team, expand internationally and grow its partner ecosystem.
"This funding will enable us to continue innovating directly for the end user, using the latest in machine learning and natural language processing to deliver a platform that is easy to use and provides immediate value through every action,” said Manny Medina, Outreach CEO, in a statement.
