Demandbase Expands Data Platform With Addition Of InfoUSA SMB Contacts

Demandbase, a leading provider of BtoB customer acquisition solutions, has expanded its reach into the SMB market through a partnership with InfoUSA which will add over two million new companies to its platform.

The addition of Infogroup data in the small and medium business (SMB) segment, joins business contact information from sources including Jigsaw, Hoover’s, Harte-Hanks, Dun & Bradstreet, LexisNexis, AccuData, Edgar and others in the Demandbase platform. The integrated data platform includes more than 8 million business contacts, all with email addresses, and is available on demand with filtering and scoring functionality designed to improve the precision in list creation.

“Targeting the SMB market requires incredible attention to data quality; we researched many of the providers and selected Infogroup to meet our customers’ expectations,” said Chris Golec, CEO of Demandbase. “ Infogroup provides a service of creating and maintaining data, and Demandbase provides technology to link the data with customer Web traffic to generate leads, marketing insights, and ultimately new selling opportunities.”

Since many customers access this data from Demandbase’s desktop web tracking widget, which enables companies to turn previously anonymous traffic into known leads, Golec added the partnership with Infogroup will now allow customers to identify SMB traffic.

He added the combination of the multi-sourced data platform and the web tracking widdget will enable customers to identify and score Web traffic quality by relevancy to a target audience, traffic source, campaign and online channel.

Demandbase Professional is offered as a subscription service and is designed to combine Web analytics with the data platform to generate leads, measure response and close the loop between outbound and inbound marketing.
