Sprinklr Acquires Advocacy Marketing Vendor BRANDERATI

Sprinklr-Branderati logosSprinklr, a social media management platform provider, announced that it has completed its acquisition of BRANDERATI, a platform provider that offers advocate and influencer marketing capabilities. Further details of the deal, including the purchase price, were not disclosed.

The acquisition is the third major purchase Sprinklr has made in the past six months, coming weeks after acquiring TBG Digital and buying Dachis Group earlier in the year. The expansion, is in preparation of a potential IPO in 2015, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.

Reseller BrainSell Adds Act-On To Its Offerings

The announcement comes shortly after BrainSell launched a new web site that includes a comparison tool, which is designed to help users compare marketing automation platforms available through the reseller.

Viralheat Partners With SugarCRM To Enhance Social Lead Targeting

The integration connects Viralheat users to their SugarCRM accounts, designed to allow users to create and manage leads generated via their social channels. The partnership can also allow users to generate activity records on leads and track them through the sales funnel. Leads can also be sent to the sales team, which can help companies prioritize high-value targets.

Salesforce Reports 38% Year-Over-Year Revenue Increase For Q2

SalesforceSalesforce announced the results of its fiscal second quarter, highlighting $1.32 billion in revenue representing year-over-year growth of 38%.

The cloud software provider also announced that subscription and support revenues were at $1.23 billion, an increase of 37% year-over-year,while professional services and other revenues were $86 million, an increase of 58% year-over-year.

HubSpot Files For IPO, Aims For $100 Million

HubSpot Logo 2xIn a much anticipated move, HubSpot announced that it has filed the necessary forms to launch an initial public offering. The company is seeking to raise $100 million, according to the filing, and the offering will be managed by Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and UBS Securities LLC.

While there was concern that executive departures might delay the offering, the company filed the IPO prior to its INBOUND conference, which is being held September 15-18 in Boston.

Act-On Builds Native Integration To Major CRMs

IgnitionOne Acquires Human Demand To Enhance Mobile Offerings

The acquisition is intended to further enhance IgnitionOne’s Digital Marketing Suite (DMS) with mobile display advertising and cross-device tracking capabilities.

IgnitionOne’s DMS is designed to provide users with a single location for buying, managing and optimizing digital media across search engines, display ads, social media and mobile devices. The suite also comes with data management, marketing automation and cross-channel attribution capabilities which aim to help users understand prospective and current customers.
