Industry Veteran Maria Pergolino Joins Anaplan As New CMO

In an interview with Demand Gen Report, Pergolino stated that she will initially be tasked with continuing to provide value to prospective customers, while also assessing current capabilities to identify areas of improvement such as processes, tech and employee base.
Pergolino most recently served as the SVP of Global Marketing and Sales Development for Apttus, where she led demand generation, sales development, customer advocacy and a variety of other initiatives. Before that, she was the Senior Director of Digital Marketing at Marketo.
“For global companies, customer stories are crucial to demand efforts,” Pergolino told Demand Gen Report. “Having an amazing bench of customers makes [this transition] so much easier. This opportunity has all the makings of success: great clients, a great product and a great company.”
