DemandGen Founder and CEO Americas, David Lewis, explained that this important expansion will allow the firm to extend support for enterprise clients in these key regions. “Globalization of marketing efforts is a growing trend for many of our clients, so our expansion is designed to support their field marketing teams with campaign execution and lead management,” he said. “The combination of our geocentric orientation and proven best practice knowledge gives our regional teams a unique ability to support our clients’ marketing infrastructures around the world.”
Robust economic growth in Asia has rapidly fueled demand for marketing automation services and consulting in that region. “DemandGen International is the only global consulting company that is 100% focused on marketing automation, so our expansion into Asia is a natural evolution,” said Reinhard Janning, CEO of DemandGen Europe.
According to Janning, the adoption of marketing automation in Europe is also growing rapidly. “We see the UK and Germany as strategic markets. Many North American companies have their EMEA headquarters in London and are looking for support to deploy marketing automation and manage their global campaigns,” he said. “Over the last four years, we’ve supported many clients in their marketing automation journey and we feel passionate about the future of marketing automation in Europe. It became clear to us as a team that we needed to expand our presence in Europe to serve our clients better.”
The DemandGen announcement coincides with the company’s sponsorship of Eloqua Experience Europe 2011 in London. A highlight of this year’s event will be the presentation by NetApp’s Marketing Automation Manager, Erin Rampey. NetApp, a global client of DemandGen, will show how they have constructed a hierarchical nurturing ecosystem for five European countries, building on the success of the company’s North American lead nurturing programs.
DemandGen currently has more than 200 customers across 12 countries worldwide, including Apple, American Express, Citrix, Dell, DuPont, FICO, Nokia, Adobe and eBay. Key partners include Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce, Microsoft, and Oracle. In addition to Singapore and London, the company currently maintains offices in the US and Canada, as well as in Germany, Austria and France.
The company’s corporate headquarters are located in technology’s heartland, the California Bay Area, with the European headquarters in Munich, Germany.
