Salesfusion Receives $5M In Funding, Names O’Kelley CEO

Salesfusion logo newSalesfusion, a marketing automation and email marketing platform provider, recently named Carol O’Kelley as its CEO and received an additional $5 million in funding. The latest investment, which follows $8 million in Series B funding in January, brings the company's overall funding total to approximately $23 million.

"This funding is a great opportunity for the company, as well as our customers," said O'Kelley in an interview with Demand Gen Report. "The funding will be used to build our customer support system and accelerate product innovation, allowing current and future customers to obtain future ahead of schedule."

Ifbyphone Rebrands To DialogTech, Unveils New Call Routing Solution

The announcement comes shortly after the company acquired Mongoose Metrics, a phone call analytics company. The two integrated solutions aim to bring further insight into the conversations prospects are having with B2B organizations.

The new offering, called LeadFlow. is designed to enhance lead generation capabilities through phone calls. The platform positions lead gen agencies, affiliate marketers and pay-per-call advertisers to connect callers from any marketing channel with the right lead buyers, in real-time.

ZoomInfo Unveils FormComplete For Shorter Lead Gen Forms

Zoominfo logoZoomInfo, a B2B database software company, launched FormComplete, a solution that positions users to increase inbound conversion rates with real-time data provided through shorter lead generation forms. This data can then be synced into the user's CRM or marketing automation solution.

The solution is also designed to flag inaccurate information and complete missing fields. This feature intends to keep information flowing into the CRM in the correct format, while also routing leads to the correct sales rep.

Study: Only 10% Of Large Tech Company Sales Teams Are Inside Sales Reps

ZS-Associates logoWhile 40% of large technology companies plan to increase their inside sales headcount by 2016, inside sales reps currently make up only 10% of these companies' sales teams. By comparison, inside sales reps make up 55% of the overall sales teams at small businesses and startups.

These are just a few of the findings of a recent study conducted by ZS Associates. The survey was conducted alongside Reality Works Group, an inside sales strategy and implementation consultancy.

LinkedIn Expands Marketing Solutions With Lead Gen And Nurturing Product

Study: Marketing Automation Innovation Highest For Small And Enterprise Firms

Research pieceMarketing automation systems for very small and very large businesses have shown the greatest innovation in the past year, according to research released by Raab Associates.

The January 2015 B2B Marketing Automation Vendor Selection Tool (VEST) added five vendors: dbSignals, Greenrope, Hatchbuck, Inbox25, LeadLiaison. These new providers are focused on serving very small companies, which form the industry's largest pool of potential new users, according to VEST author David M. Raab. In addition, vendors serving enterprise marketers have been the most aggressive towards extending their systems beyond traditional marketing automation to include display advertising and other new channels.

6sense Raises $20 Million In Series B Funding

6sense black sense logo RGB6sense has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round, which comes less than a year after launching its SaaS-based predictive intelligence platform.

The round of funding was led by Bain Capital Ventures (BCV), and brings the company's total financing to $36 million. Battery Ventures and Venrock, who both contributed in 6sense's successful Series A funding, also contributed to the round. Indy Guha, a BCV partner, will join the company's advisory board.
